Hot, delicious mussel fritters; spring greens from Clevedon Herbs & Produce; kiwifruit & ginger jam and guava jelly from Relish the Thought; The Godmother’s cupcakes; Pic’s Really Good Peanut Butter; crunchy golden macadamia nuts, on their own and in muesli from Tui Downs Farm.

Live music is an established part of the market ambience, with weekly performers ranging from ukulele band to folk to jazz to blues. Come along, grab a coffee or juice and sit down for a listen!

Parking for market customers is available for a special rate of $6 at Britomart Car Park on the corner of Britomart Place and Quay Street. Bring your parking ticket to the market to be validated and receive the special rate.

Located immediately adjacent to the Britomart Transport Centre, there’s also plenty of public transport to the market. Please bring your own shopping bags – or buy one at the market.

ABOUT CITY FARMERS' MARKET

We’re an authentic inner-city farmers’ market at the heart of Britomart in Auckland’s CBD. Every Saturday morning, whatever the weather, we bring a bounty of seasonal produce from the Auckland region to the city.

An authentic farmers’ market is a food market where local growers, farmers and artisan food producers sell their wares directly to consumers. Stallholders may only sell what they grow, farm, pickle, preserve, bake, smoke or catch themselves within a defined local area.

City Farmers’ Market was founded in 2006 by a not-for-profit group, inspired by the wonderful local markets in Europe. It is still run as a non-profit enterprise by Cooper and Company, manager of the Britomart precinct.

City Farmers’ Market is proudly affiliated to Farmers’ Markets New Zealand, the governing body supporting authentic farmers’ markets throughout the country.
